Question about Spot Grid Bot

hi all, i have a question about spot grid bot in binance

let's imagine, i set the worth vary 100-120 with arithmetic grid 0.5
meaning im gonna have 40 grids, right (or 41 doesnt matter)?

if i start the bot at precisely 100, will it purchase 40 positions directly? or simply for 1 position ($100)?
and place a limit sell order at these grids (100.5, 101.0, 101.5, 102.0, and so on)
