Question: what was your first big mistake in the crypto world?

I will start, for this I will tell you my biggest mistake as an investor and my biggest with DeFi.

As an investor, to this day I very much regret not trusting in the power of Ethereum, since I had the opportunity to buy it when it barely reached $300. On the contrary, I acquired about $1,000 and when it reached the figure of $1,500, I sold without hesitation since as a stock investor 50% was much more than I thought I would earn. (Since I didn't know anything about crypto at the time, I invested purely for speculation.)

And as a DeFi user, I fell like a fool for the Cloud Miner scam, where I lost $200. Basically the site was a Ponzi scheme, in which under the pretext of "mining in the cloud", it offered you a weekly return of 10%! Like a fool I fell and sent $ 200 of my Bitcoin, and to my surprise the payments were made, at the end of the week I received my 10%. What I didn't know, how delusional I was, was that that 10% came directly from my initial investment, which was "blocked". A couple of weeks later the website was declared a scam and disappeared with lots of Bitcoins. (I’ll write another post today explaining to all of you these scam and how much money did it steal).
