There is a new privacy wallet built on Railgun called Railway. It uses zk SNARK Proofs to send shielded transactions of any erc 20 or erc 721 token and it's all done on chain. The shielded transactions that you send appear as 0 on Etherscan. This more or less accomplishes the same goal as a mixer by making your holdings/balance amount unknown, but it’s a wallet and wallets can’t be sanctioned as far as I know.
The wallet is just one half of the puzzle, the other is the Railgun Software Dev Kit which is being released in a few weeks. The SDK enables DeFi Platforms to plug Railway's tech into their protocol. The SDK combined with the Railway wallet means people can use their hidden funds to privately LP, Yield Farm, and even Lend them out. Once Railgun is integrated into a dApp, users have access to the same amount of liquidity as before. This all works on any EVM-capable chain.
