Receiving “dust”

Hi All,

This may be a straightforward answer, but I can’t find anything on the FAQ or get a response from support. I’ve been receiving little bits of different coins. Some I have never purchased before in the past. I’m not complaining, but does anyone know if this is related to a referral program or could it be some sort of “dust attack”?
