Referral Code not added to account

I signed up with a referral code earlier this month for 20% off trading fees but did not get the discount. I have tried contacting customer support about this multiple times and left a message in the weekly support thread on Reddit but got confused responses or no response.

Customer support can't seem to understand that I am being referred and would like the promised discount and that I am not referring anyone. I have said this in several ways, several times, with several different people. And the weekly support thread is almost 2 weeks old now?

Is anyone else having problems, with customer support or using referral codes?
