So first of all we have to be clear that this was not a hack. If the OP was telling the truth, he entered his seed phrase on a sketchy link sent to him by a person on discord who was claiming to be support. This is social engineering, not hacking. If this is true then I absolutely feel bad for the guy, but things are not adding up and I can't help but be skeptical.
Secondly, only 1 day ago he posted this here:
You’re equally at risk from the suspiciously new Reddit accounts which send you links to ‘help’ you solve issues….
Unfortunately there isn’t any way to report anyone for attempted scamming on Reddit so this will carry onb.
So we have someone who is a veteran in crypto, been in it for 6 years, has over a quarter million in holdings, has at least a ledger and metamask both of which absolutely stress the importance of keeping your seed phrase safe, knows about scammers contacting people under the guise of support and the first thing this guy does is enter his seed phrase into a link from a discord message? I honestly don't buy that. The more I think about it the more I start to believe this is a new form of "lost all my coins in a tragic boating accident"
