As the price of MOONs skyrockets and hit a new ATH of $0.449 from all the bullish news (Reddit ToS change and Cryptodotcom listing), my mind is reminded of a particular post from a month ago. This particular trader swapped a whopping 445,615 moons for 24.9 ETH on SushiSwap. For context, before he made the swap, the price of MOONs was around $0.13 at that point in time, making his stash worth around ~$58K. https://nova.arbiscan.io/tx/0x101b8d99c7c220e5c00446e7797a76524d9b65fda8a0919cb6910d1c7fb2a403 As soon as he swapped, price of MOONs tanked from $0.13 to $0.08. He managed to make out with 24.9 ETH, which is worth around $42K (1ETH=$1710) at that point in time, taking a loss of about $16K. What I understood about this trader is that he has been slowly accumulating MOONs for around 3 months and bought between $0.2-0.3 (so his real loss is more than 50%). If he would have held for another month, he would've been at least 20% in profit. Goes to show you how unpredictable crypto is. Price of MOONs tanked on 9th June Fortunately for him, it seems like he is doing well for himself and remains to be a whale. His various wallets combined still hold about $670K worth of ETH. So, what do you think he is thinking when he sees that MOONs have skyrocketed in price? Do you think he will FOMO in again? [link] [comments] |
