Hello all. I am putting together a presentation about bitcoin mining and how it helps secure the energy grid. Could you help point me to resources that I can do some further reading on this? Please link, articles, websites, anything that is reputable and wouldn't be embarrassing to use as a reference. I'm looking to specifically learn more about:

• Anything that debunks bitcoin energy related FUD
• Anything that specifically relates to existing nuclear fission power plants taking bitcoin initiatives or incorporate bitcoin related projects

I realized after posting this that there is another topic, a prerequisite actually, that I sorely need to learn about and understand. How does the energy grid currently work (from a bitcoiners perspective) and what are the opportunities that bitcoin mining solves? Any discussion or links to sources appreciated.
