Revoking contracts question

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 48 Views

Quick question for all of you crypto veterans. I’m aware of the process of revoking contracts using etherscan or other services, and I regularly check for contracts and revoke anything that may be there.

My question is if someone signs a bad contract that gives permission to drain their wallet, how can they revoke the contract if their wallet instantly gets drained of any crypto they add? Since you have to pay a small fee to revoke the contract, doesn’t that make the process useless?

Whenever I see someone commenting that their wallet got drained I slash recommend they revoke but of course they usually can’t as it gets instantly drained every time they add crypto.

Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to the community to offer this service for free? Or maybe there is a free version of this service I’m not aware of?

I see so many people get scammed this way surely there must be a more efficient way to do this ( besides trying to educate people to not connect to questionable sites- since some will anyways).
