Safe computer connection

When you are new to btc everyone tells you about safety of wallets, how to store btc, "not your keys not your coins" etc. But what about your connection to the internet? Are there some computers that are safer than others?

What if you create a new or open an existing wallet and you have some sort of spyware on your computer that grabs the private key? How do you as safely as possible avoid this? I know that you can buy a never used before device and create the key offline, but do you literally buy a single use device specifically for that ?

Personally, I would never buy a used computer because of the risk of spyware. But how do you trust a new computer? What is safest between IOS/Windows/Linux?
Is a dell more safe than a Lenovo?

I am asking because, even if the btc keys are safe, most of us still use our e-mails and online brokers, which I guess can still be hacked - even if you only transferred cash temporarily to buy bitcoin safely... Honestly, I don't even like using wifi in public spaces, I feel like anyone could grab my personal information.

TLDR; What is the safest way to access your e-mail, brokers, and spend bitcoin from a private address?

(I have a relatively safe paper wallet and a less safe spending wallet, but I need to buy a new computer now and are wondering about this, because even if my less safe spending wallet got hacked, it would still be a bummer...)
