Saylor digital hotel analogy?

Bitcoin Reddit

More / Bitcoin Reddit 84 Views

I have listened to several Saylor podcasts where he likens Bitcoin to a digital hotel, where you can rent out your digital property not just by the room night, but by the ‘room hour’ or ‘room minute’ anywhere around the globe to the person or institution that is willing to pay you the highest rate, or yield, for temporarily “renting your room” or borrowing your BTC. I don’t fully understand the use cases here. Why would someone have a need to use your Bitcoin for a temporary period of time? Can someone explain what I might be missing with this analogy for digital property that can be rented out at “1000% occupancy”?
