Scammers are attempting to capitalize on the recent publicity of Moons to advertise a Scam token on Solana - with the Moon tag on other social media platforms.

I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone here that Twitter is filled with scams and scammers. Due to the lack of representation the Reddit CryptoCurrency Moon Community has on Twitter, Scammers have been using the $Moon tag on Twitter to promote a recently launched scam on Solana using bots to get it to trend to the top of the search when you look for information about CryptoCurrency Moons, hoping they can steal money from anyone that searches for $Moon on Twitter. I've removed the name of the scam token in the image below as to not give further publicity to the scammers.

The token can stop users from selling, mint new tokens or even transfer your tokens. It's a guaranteed scam and was launched days ago when Moons started getting a ton of attention in the media. Thanks to the lack of Representation Moons have on Twitter they've been about to be at the top of the search when you try and find information about $Moon on Twitter.

It's bittersweet we've reached the point that others are trying to imitate us in an attempt to scam others.
