1. The blatant one (the OG Giveaway Scam)

Send me X BTC/ETH and I send you X*2 BTC/ETH back. Mostly via Twitter, Youtube.

1. The new Giveaway Scam

You supposedly won 0.1 BTC in a Giveaway. To claim it, you have to "activate" your account by sending 0.01BTC... then some more for taxes... then some more for releasing it... then you won more and have to pay more taxes. Mostly via Discord.

1. The Arbitrage Scam

There are fake exchanges out there with inflated prices. People buy BTC somewhere cheap, transfer it to the fake exchange and want to cash out. Boom, account locked and support refers to the Terms of Service where it says you have to pay multiple thousand $ for a business account. When transferring more money there, it's still locked. Because they never had the intention to pay out to anyone

1. The helpful Scam

You fell for one of the Scams above and some "company" is specialized in "retrieving" your funds. Not sure what the next steps are.. you definitely lose more money in the end. They advertise by giving other exchanges bad reviews and link to the company that retrieved the money back.

1. The investment Scam

I have an investment company with a trading bot that does 30% a day... Trust me bro. Mostly via reddit PMs...

You have problems with your (younameit) Wallet/Service? No worries, support is here. Just give me your seed and I'll fix it. Or type in your seed on this website (something with "bridge" in it) to "verify" your block via my verification address.

What other more or less sophisticated Scams are out there? Apart from classic Phishing Mails with fake domains.
