When Bitcoin becomes the shit, how is everyone going to maintain the safety of their recovery phrases. It feels oddly insecure having to store the key physically which introduces the single point of failure if someone with malicious intent finds where you’ve hidden it. What would the standard way of securing it be amongst the population or perhaps what’s the consensual opinion? Would everyone just keep it a secret from others and no general opinions form amongst communities about storing phrases? Or alternatively would the opinions form… if the latter becomes the case then theft of crypto assets could become a problem due to social engineering techniques and poor security. Could the government possibly get involved in a mutual way to somehow prevent the thefts without trading off too much privacy. Alternatively I’m wrong however and storing pass phrases becomes easy and stress free but that’s what I’m curious about. I want to see into the future… Wouldn’t that be great ????
