Seeing cryptocurrency go up while the stock market meanders is exactly why I invest in this space.

I have mostly stocks BUT there really hasn't been a good alternative investment(bonds were ok but now they're worthless with 0% rates and inflation) until cryptocurrency came along and sure it's young and new and volatile but anytime you can have something that provides potential returns and can zig while the market zags, it's worth looking into it.

I don't expect the markets to be negatively correlated to each other forever. After all, if we have a crash, everything will likely tank but as a long term investors, it's awesome to have alternatives that can provide another avenue for long term wealth building! It's also nice to have another potential inflation hedge besides gold and housing out there.
