self custody sucks for adoption (small pointless rant)

first I wanna say i do self custody, i do all the right things.

...but it sucks for adoption. Most people cannot be their own bank these days especially in a world of simplicity and laziness. People cant even remember a facebook password they use daily let alone figure out how to use this asset.

how do we combat this? exchanges suck and have proved they cant be trusted, and as we know here they shouldn't be trusted.

i think adoption is the only thing holding bitcoin back right now, but at the same time i'm not sure its worth the effort to educate a lot of people. you get bitcoin the price you deserve i suppose.
