Say I make a handshake deal to sell ethereum for cash to someone else. They give me cash and I transfer it to a wallet they control, a wallet that isn’t connected to a KYC exchange and ownership can’t be verified at all. Would the government/IRS or any other party investigating still assume I own those assets? I asked this in a bitcoin sub as well. Looking for perspective from the ethereum community.
