Top post of this subreddit at the moment is a very sensationalist Reuters article, which, if you actually read it, is a giant nothing-burger. The title has a harsh statement, like "crypto's CREAK under pressure of rate hike!'. Other articles have titles like "crypto PLUMMETS below 19k as it sets new (insert arbitrary time period here) lows!"
How is shit like this getting to the top of the subreddit? Why do we keep allowing posts like this? Especially since it is posted at nighttime for America and early morning for Europe, where the major market moves of the day have not happened yet. Yes, crypto did drop today, Bitcoin went down from 19,400 to lows of 18,250. Shocking. Did not warrant a news post today, does not warrant a newspost tomorrow. As we speak, Bitcoin is close to 19,400 again, literally invalidating all these articles and the current top post of the subreddit. It might drop again, who knows. Might rise again, who knows. But this empty news article just stating a small price movement is not providing anything to the subreddit and is severely diminishing its quality as hundreds of moon farmers post every crypto related article they can get their hands on.
