Sent ETH on Matic network instead of BSC network. Binance incapable of recovering.

I sent a couple of ETH which I had on Matic to Binance. The adresses of all EVM blockchains is the same on Binance, so they have the private key and in principle could send the coins back. However the support said they cannot do it. Of course they could. Use the same key as for ETH or BSC and send back. So it looks like the only thing I can do is hope in the future they will be more capable of dealing with such a trivial problem
