sent moons to moons contract address

So I was in a hurry to transfer moons before my phone died and accidentally sent them to the moons contract address. It wasn't the phone I usually use for metamask so I had to set up the nova network and moon token is there a way to get them back or did I just burn some moons?

I was pretty sure I read somewhere that it was possible but trying to look it up yields no results.

Decided to post just to make sure there was anything I could do to retrieve them before I called it a lost cause.

All in all it wasn't many moons but anything will do. Thanks
