[SERIOUS] How to avoid losing crypto to malicious dapps using the Kleros security metadata registries. ???? (Kleros Scout & Kleros Curate)

Hi everyone. I noticed that many users in this subreddit were concerned after the recent Galxe DNS attack that drained many wallets. I want to share a tool that could have helped prevent this attack.

You may have heard of Kleros, the dispute resolution protocol that uses crowdsourced arbitrators to resolve disputes. But did you know that Kleros also has a project called Kleros Curate, which is a community-curated source of security metadata for dapp interactions?

Kleros Curate has several registries which provide insights on the trustworthiness and safety of tokens, addresses, and contracts in the crypto space. The easiest way to access this data is to use Kleros Scout, a MetaMask snap that gives you contract insights in your browser. Kleros Scout shows you the metadata from the Curate registries when you interact with a dapp, to help you make informed decisions and avoid risks. I've been using the Kleros Scout snap since MetaMask snaps were released and I've been very happy with it; my only problem with it is that not every good contract has been added yet. However, Kleros Curate is permissionless; anyone can submit tokens and contracts to the Curate registries and you will be rewarded in PNK for successful submissions (rewards are active until the end of the year). To submit a contract, you need to have xdai on Gnosis Chain to pay a deposit, which you will get back after your submission is approved in about a week. During this time, other users can challenge your submission if it breaks any rules. If challenged, your submission will be evaluated by a panel of crowdsourced arbitrators who will either approve or reject it. You will lose your deposit if your submission is rejected (an incentive to not submit harmful contracts). If you frequently use defi/web3 with MetaMask I would highly suggest using Kleros Scout. Tools like this make the crypto space safer to interact with and will hopefully increase adoption of the tech.
