Hey all, sorry if newbs asking for advice is uncool, but I thought I'd take a shot.
So I jumped into Crypto in Nov 21 which seems like the end of the last Bull.
Was down about 80% for the last 2 years. I am finally in profit, up about 15-20%
I started out buying a bunch of different coins, but quickly consolidated into the 4 I hold now: BTC (about 50% of portfolio), ETH (30%), SOL (15%), and DOGE (5%)
With this latest run, BTC and ETH are up, both SOL and DOGE are a few bucks short of being even, minor loss territory more than offset by the other 2.
Does it make sense to hold those other 2 or should I just consolidate to BTC and ETH?
In general with all these other projects, how do you know when it's time to give up on it? I know people say HODL.
But imagine some coins just limp along and then completely fail no? How do you if a project is still making moves trying to stay viable or whether the project has stagnated?
