should i just sell everything and put all my money in only bitcoin?

i’ve been in crypto for 3 weeks now and i see all these alts , utilities all the hype and talk about all this bullishit, but then i really think about it, btc is the most stable with the most guaranteed future to it, would it be a good choice to swap everything out for bitcoin and just let it sit for value appreciation over the coming years ? i don’t plan to short term trade, lmk any pros and cons
