Signed up and now I have a question - how can I replace this silly sliding "change in 24 h" nonsense?

This number is absolutely meaningless and I really like to hide it or change it to something that can actually tell me something useful - change from a fixed point in time aka UTC 00:00.

If your "product owner" or what ever you call it, cant understand why sliding % changes is absolutely meaningless, I'll be happy to provide a more detailed explanation.

Get your crayons and plot this.

Market goes ape-sheet for a while and then settles down and moves sideways. 24 h later, while the market is still moving sideways, your "24 % changes" goes apes-sh2it with absolutely no reason at all.

If you want to measure a change in something, you do it against a fixed point, not against a moving point.

Just in case, you still cant figure this out, lets try this.

Imagine you are hiking in the mountains. You arrive on a flat plateau and keep on going. Suddenly, your equipment tells you went up 150 m. Did you? No, you did not. It's flat as far as you can see. Some time later it shows you have dropped 25 m, but you have not done that either. Is this useful information? No, it's not. It's nonsense.

Here is one more example:

You look at the XYZ's % change and it shows 2%, moment later it shows 2.5%

Question: did the price of XYZ change just now?

Answer: You cant tell because you have no idea when did this change happen - now or 24 h ago.

Do you see now how utterly useless this number is?
