So Shiba Inu silently confirmed a new token during their keynote on ETH Toronto last month, here's how it all unfolded

I'm a historic researcher and have been putting my skills and experience to use on Cryptocurrency projects. I'm not affiliated with any projects I research and the hours I put into it. My investments are always based on my own research. This is not financial advise. I've been following the developments around The Toad Killer since the initial r/CryptoCurrency post back in May got me very interested. The thread was later deleted ( https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/13kumrk/it_would_appear_the_shibu_inu_team_have_created_a/ ) but it didn't stop me from going deeper, way deeper. Since deployment it's now been over 4 months

Initially, the email address on the website was different ([email protected]) from the current [email protected] address. I've run numerous checks on it, and it certainly exists. I've send a mail to it as well and it wasn't being returned, so someone from the team must've clearly created it. Only the domain owner can create such an address.

So I digged further and came across an interesting wallet which bought more than 6T Toad over the course of a few days: https://etherscan.io/address/0x12949651a3a7cf952a06fc7f97e13e40f377db9c But what makes it so interesting? It's the 6th top wallet for LEASH, has 169B Shib and 4777 Leash (#1 Holder) and provided the initial liquidity in the Leash liquidity event back in the days. It provides the majority of liquidity for Shibaswap. It only holds Shiba Inu Ecosystem tokens besides CRV and BANK. I hence believe that this likely is a team related wallet. It doesn't stop here though, as it goes even deeper.

There's an ENS address named shibadev.eth which, if you search for it on Opensea, returns Revoinfotech, the company behind development of both Shibarium and Shibaswap. I've been following their TXs closely, and on the 10th July one particular TX caught my attention: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xa331a8fce71ddbb689b168bb90cedfa96b5b38f2522e74bb4eaa8c0fe45416d0 They bought exactly 1,87B worth of Toad, the same amount as the ATH of Pepe. While most of you likely didn't watch the ETH Toronto keynote and Shytoshi's speak, it confirmed and made Toad legit during both Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference. At Day 1 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYKa9i_o1qY ) gave a small introduction speech and at around the 02:00 mark he says the following: "It is here, on Shibarium, where Dogs, TOADS and Apes, yep, even the entire zoo is invited to live in peace and harmony".

"This is nothing" you might say, so hold my beer for a moment there. On Day 2 the keynote happened. A recording is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fCdHxEA90o. Before you watch it, it's important to know that Shiba Inu had a booth at the conference where they were showing the protocols building on Shibarium and Toad wasn't on there.

Kaal proceeds to talk about the protocols and suddenly the Toad Killer logo is right there on the screen besides him, which combined with Shy's speech a day before, essentially confirmed that they claimed a new token. This could have the potential of a lifetime and I'm sure a lot of people dismissed it before.
