Solana Miami hackathon had to be shut down an evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Security risk to the hackathon!

At approximately 2:55 pm local time, security notified event organizers of a credible security risk to the Solana Miami event. The security risk was detected by a k-9 during a routine sweep, and confirmed by two additional k-9 units.

Security instituted an evacuation of two adjacent venues, and alerted authorities. A short time later, Miami Police Department took control of the scene and ordered a complete evacuation of all event venues and closed the grounds.

The event had to be shut down due to the threat!

After the Solana network struggled to stay online and gained a great reputation for going down more times than a hooker, it appears even their events are struggling to stay online!
