Some interesting developments with tokens and payment systems on Reddit

So if you’ve been on Reddit for any length of time you’ll know that there are various tokens available.

Formerly there has been Donuts, Moons on here and Cone.

More recently there has been a new token for the Rabbids community Plunger Token called PLUNGER and a complementary, yet separate token called Tacon Token which is listed as TACO.

These are both on the Polygon network and were released as an airdrop for Rabbids avatar holders. PLUNGER was developed as a community token in the same vein as Coneheads and Bitcone.

Meanwhile at the Coneheads community there has been some development with a partnership with QuickSwap and also MoonsDust.

QuickSwap tokens can be found on the Polygon network (alongside Bitcone) and MoonsDust can be found on the all so familiar Arbitrum Nova network. These tokens are given to users as a triple reward for posting on the Coneheads community.

Reddit gold has also been rolled out on the cone based subreddit and can be claimed as cash by US residents after 10 gilded posts or comments. Unfortunately, the system is not available yet for non-US based residents.

There is a short KYC process for US based residents in order to claim any funds, which involves handing over credit card details and your national insurance number.
