Some investments are designed to set and forget. But not crypto - keep your ear to the ground and stay informed; you might thank yourself for it.

In this day and age, many investments are designed so that you can adopt a set and forget mentality where you siphon money into the market, and leave it alone for extended periods, generally many years at a minimum. An example would be investing in an S&P 500 index, or a blue chip stock like good old Apple.

But you can’t afford to do this in crypto. At least, not for most coins.

It’s a developing space, a young ecosystem, and it’s constantly evolving and adjusting at a rapid pace, but this brings about risk.

Things happen fast in crypto, lightning fast. We’ve seen Celsius, Luna, and I feel I don’t have to mention the current debacle occurring. There’s been rug pulls, wars, inflation, rate rises, and sell offs.

Crypto is volatile, and things can go wrong. It’s an environment where you should be aware of the news and be mindful of keeping tabs on your investments, because much like the noble meerkat, alertness of your surroundings might prove to be a very rewarding trait…
