Even the most ardent hater of nft here in this sub might have been introduced to free nfts in the form of collectible avatars from Reddit.

So yes, REDDIT stepped into nft space some months before by partnering with polygon...

No, I'm not going to shill any particular project or make cone jokes that this sub might have seen 100 times this last week...

It's abt how reddit slowly introduced people to nfts through free nfts and actually made them to step into NFT space and actually introduced a avatar marketplace for people to buy avatars and trade.

Guess what happened next? Reddit avatars are making a wave in opensea marketplace.... One of the nft series (foustlings) actually made into top 10 listings in open sea ( polygon category)...

When it comes to overall performance the senses is now leading the game with a total volume of 37.4 eth with floor price of .95 eth, which is actually huge for something that sold out a month before for a base price of 9.99$..

This is not anyway a shill post for reddit avatars but to appreciate reddit for introducing people to nft and actually succeeding in nft during this bear market.
