Hello all,
Currently fighting back a panic attack - I just logged into my Metamask for the first time in awhile today because apparently some NFT I was selling on Opensea finally sold (legit forgot I posted it). I logged in - all my Eth - staked or otherwise - is all gone (except what I got from this sale, apparently). Here is my etherscan: https://etherscan.io/address/0x0c0771096c209517536d53b20b868fb974626174
I am fearful of the answer but I have to ask anyway - is there ANYTHING I can do to recover this? I have been slowly building this bag since 2017, this is absolutely devastating. I'm not sure how anyone could have gotten the necessary keys, they are not on my computer anywhere.
Is there anything I can do? Or am I now just out $40k?
Tracked my eth to this account: https://etherscan.io/address/0x97dc5b190fb6e8a793803191356aaf6475adf0a7
Edit: for those saying I clicked a phishing email, it was a legit email over the legit sale of an NFT on OpenSea - the email address is [email protected]. I only mentioned this connection initially because the timing was too bizarre to be coincidence.
Also, yes, I fucked up, I did not realize you could still stake with a hardware wallet. This may become the most expensive lesson of my life.
