Speed up transaction -> results in low GWEI?

Hey guys, so I tried to do a transaction a while back with a lowered the gas fee. So far it hasn't been completed at all, so what I did was use Metamask's speed up option.

The issue is, it's still not pushing through, and upon checking the etherscan transaction it: The gas fee doesn't match what I set on Metamask.

I set it on around 60 GWEI at the time I tried to speed the transaction up, however checking the transaction on etherscan, it says I only listed it at a GWEI of ~18

What's going on?
