According to stakingrewards, there are 556,793 stakers right now. The average block time is 12.15s (as reported by stakingrewards).
There are 86,400 seconds in a day meaning on average there should be 7111 blocks produced each day.
Given 556,793 validators and 7111 blocks per day, a validator should expect to produce a block every 78.3 days over the long term. Is this correct?
I know once the Shanghai upgrade goes live, the number of validators will change drastically, just wondering what the current expectations are.
edit: to include clarity on block time
