Stock market crash and cryptos

Hypotetically speaking, if global stock markets would crash say in the coming weeks, what would be the immediate effect on crypto currencies? How would you prepare for that if you knew it was going to happen for sure? Would you short stock indexes or cryptos with ETFs?

I am not claiming that it willl happen or implying it, I just would like to hear your thoughts including the arguments and reasoning behind them.

Please note, that I am not looking for a discussion whether the stock markets will crash or not. That is irrevevant in this context. I want to discuss only assumptions what would happen to cryptos if that happened. Thank you for your input.
