I'm setting up a new Ethereum node with Geth and Prysm. I'm not sure if it's performing the sync as it should and don't want to waste days to find out it's not working.
The prysm logs look like it is making slow progress with the occasional error " Unable to process past deposit contract logs, perhaps your execution client is not fully synced".
However Geth does not appear to be doing a whole lot. It occasionally throws "Post-merge network, but no beacon client seen. Please launch one to follow the chain!" and it is not showing any sign of syncing.
> eth.syncing { currentBlock: 0, healedBytecodeBytes: 0, healedBytecodes: 0, healedTrienodeBytes: 0, healedTrienodes: 0, healingBytecode: 0, healingTrienodes: 0, highestBlock: 0, startingBlock: 0, syncedAccountBytes: 0, syncedAccounts: 0, syncedBytecodeBytes: 0, syncedBytecodes: 0, syncedStorage: 0, syncedStorageBytes: 0, txIndexFinishedBlocks: 0, txIndexRemainingBlocks: 1 }
Will Geth start syncing at some point after prysm has reached some threshold or has finished? Is this what I should be expecting to see?
