Texas votes to add crypto to state’s Bill of Rights

On May 10, Texas legislators voted to amend the state constitution to give all Texas citizens the right to own crypto. Bill HJR 146 was introduced by State Representative Giovani Capriglione. It received only two votes against, with 139 in favor. There is one more House vote on HJR 146, then the Senate votes. Texas legislators in favor of the bill explicitly said they supported it in part because of the instability of the dollar and the manipulation of financial global elites.
