According to new data from Charles Hoskinson and Vasil based testnets, transactions like NFT sell and bid have been massively reduced in size and efficiency, clocking in at about 500 bytes per transaction.
This means that now Cardano may be able to handle up to a whopping 9 transactions per second in specific situations according to the following simple calculation:
90 kB block / 0.5 kB transactions / 20 seconds block time = 9 transactions per second when blocks are completely full.
