The absolute uselessness of this entire subreddit

Every month or so I come back here to check if anything has changed from the previous month and to my continued surprise it just keeps on getting worse. The quality of posts in this subreddit has gone extremely downhill from the days of 2016/2017/2018. Back then discussions mainly focused around the technology and disruptive nature of Bitcoin and Proof of Work, while today most of the discussions here revolve around old/new Proof of Stake premined shitcoins that scammers and shillers pump and dump on unexpected newcomers. It seems like most, if not all people here only care about stupid fiat gains which completely misses the entire point of Bitcoin. (Bitcoin isn’t about making money, it’s about replacing money.) This entire subreddit at best gives the whole space an incredibly bad look and at worst is at least partly responsible for why the majority of the world doesn’t take this space seriously and/or thinks Bitcoin is a scam.

What the hell happened?
