The Americans who think the senators “defending” crypto are any less “corrupt” than those seeking regulation are ignorant.

You may be personally aligned with the positions that some senators are taking for selfish reasons (you don’t want to pay as much in taxes, you don’t want people tracking your money, etc.), but if you think Ted Cruz or anybody else is defending you personally you are woefully uninformed. Just as others are influenced by the enormous fees paid to them by speaking engagements, you can bet your last DOGE that the folks “defending” you either own crypto or have donors who do.
