I'm sure we all noticed those green charts mooning even after the banks (which are a big deal) that associated themselves with crypto has gone down. Some people are blaming crypto for what had happened. Taking the blow to where something can act as a scapegoat.
This is a very important message.
On the article, Barney Franks (for whom I'm not too familiar) quoted, "I think part of what happened was that regulators wanted to send a very strong anti-crypto message...We became the poster boy because there was no insolvency based on the fundamentals."
These banks taking themselves down on their own is a big outcry, and truly just like the article said, has something big of a message to say.
These big players are getting us, retail investors, to help them absorb the damage they managed to bring to their own.
