The Craig Wright fork

So, as we know, CW is pursuing court action where he intends to force the Bitcoin devs to rewrite the code to give him access to 110,000 (ish) BTC.

Let’s imagine he wins the case, eventually. Presumably, we will then have a fork where the “Craig Update” is ignored by all the miners, and the network continues on the old fork. Nothing changes, except CW gets access to his coins on the new (worthless) fork.

Is there some scenario where we have to adopt this update and he actually gets this access on the “trusted” network?
