The creation of Bitcoin and blockchain will always be under appreciated

Do you believe bitcoin long term? What has been your lightbulb moment to invest and hold?

In 2023 bitcoin is still heavily under appreciated and understood by most members of society. Unfortunately for most of the G7 countries we are likely 5-10 years on the high side of a financial restructure of CBDC’s. By then people will wish they paid more attention.

I don’t doubt capital controls would happen in that scenario. As well as some governments trying to limit bitcoin. History has shown its here to stay, and those that ban it will pay the price. People will vote with their money, and that vote grows each cycle.

Do you openly discuss bitcoin/crypto?

Personally I often avoid it since being in the space in 2013, it’s caused nothing but trouble. I certainly refrain only to discuss those who are generally curious and open and can carry a conversation. I certainly made my mistakes and learned a lot, it takes a few cycles for some.

Generally I find most people to live in denial, woefully bliss on the world around them. We just accept the system for what it is. Big governments, banks, bureaucracy’s, politics. However the public is waking up and trust is dwindling.

Henry Ford once quoted “It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning”

This is what the central banks want. Inflation and taxation to keep the working class funding big governments. If more people were financially free, how would the system survive?

The middle class is too busy making ends meat just to survive , rather than tuning into politics and fighting for change.

Everyone has that bitcoin moment. From usually the bull market and buying into the hype. Unfortunately many people don’t dive deep enough or don’t care enough to understand what bitcoin is for.

It’s not a get rich quick scheme, it’s a buy and hold generational asset that will protect purchasing power, provide property rights, and financial stability.

Personally I’m in the camp bitcoin will go down as one of the greatest inventions of all time. Time will be the test of that.
