I am a little confused about this and its surprising how binance, the leasing crypto exchange, really lacks with this.
If I go to spot and export everything, I get everything from each date I've transfered. That's great.
But it doesn't show the crypto market value from when the transaction was. That's really important when taxing.
This can be fixed with the API on a site like Koinly. But...
What if the api for some reason stop working? Or if the api no longer shows from that month or year?
Is there no way from binance to generate all transaction and what the market value was?
I really want to tell the tax office everything so I got my back clean.
But having to use a cheap transaction csv that doesn't really tell much and having to use a third party site for getting market value and get other info that should be given by binance them selves seems weird for such a big crypto exchange.
