I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this, but the longer the American government resists the idea of embracing crypto, be it stablecoins, Ethereum, Bitcoin, L2 scaling solutions, and so on, they are just creating a longer and harder path for America and the American people to develop financially.
All you need to do to fully realize the situation that is going on right now is look at how much of the /r/worldnews subreddit is full of Ukraine and Russia news and then internalize that which is happening all around the world right now.
EDIT: Of course crypto is not illegal in the U.S. but Americans cannot participate in things like ICOs and some staking protocols unless they have a particular net worth. I just think it's altogether ridiculous that the industry has to be so cumbersome in the USA.
