The first rule about crypto is you don't talk about crypto.

So you've made your plans, you've crunched the numbers and sat through the night studying past price action and correlating it to where the market might be heading. Now you've made a few mistakes, won some and maybe lost some.

You can see where you made the mistakes and what needs to be done differently. You've educated yourself on the basics of blockchain and learned what key terms and ideas mean so you can start investing into things you believe will be future game changers.

All this is very exciting, you even start to hear people outside or maybe even at work talk about it casually. This is where it gets tricky. I explained crypto to a few people at work and they got really excited. But I legitimately overheard someone at work (this was before I even said a word) talk to someone else saying he's attending an in person seminar about nft's and he had to pay $300 for it.

Pretty sure the dude got scammed, and I didn't say a word because some people will inevitably get burned then want someone to blame for it. My lips are sealed from now on, I'm following the first rule of crypto.
