The frustrating hatred towards crypto

There's a top post right now over in the Technology sub where Nvidea says crypto adds nothing useful to the world.

The whole comment section is just sitting on crypto and Nvidia. Saying crypto is a ponzi scheme, a game of greater fool, a pyramid scheme etc etc.

I don't have the energy to argue with these people and I feel like it would be pointless anyways to shout into the abyss of thousands of redditors.

Is this something we as a community need to try and handle or is this just a situation where we let the power of the blockchain eventually take hold in the background as it replaces traditional finance?

How does crypto win these people over? Does it have to?
