The NFL is slowly dipping toes into the crypto world and this is good news for all of us

We know the NFL to be the biggest sports league in America. The sport has has massive revenue and growth over the past two decades but few tings are more establishment driven, centralized and authoritarian than the NFL. Without getting into that controversy let's see where the NFL is on crypto.

We know the following

• There are players in the NFL who receive some of their salary in crypto. This list includes Aaron Rodgers, Stars Odell Beckham jr and Trevor Lawrence plus Sequaon Barkley, Sean Culkin, Aaron Jones. There may be more I am not aware of.
• Rodgers and OBJ both promoted giving $1M in bitcoin on a cashapp promo. I personally received $10 in BTC from both.
• Cashapp also has a campaign with ESPN to give out Bitcoin,. Another $10 in BTC to my wallet.
• We know New England Patriots QB gifted his entire Offensive line some Bitcoin for xmas.
• Tom Brady gave Bitcoin to a fan in exchange for a football that what used to throw his 600th TD pass.
• He also owns an NFT platform Autograph and sponsors for FTX
• In last Thursdays game it was said that Ezequiel Elliot gave his co RB Tony Pollard crypto for xmas.
• Crypto.com's add with Matt Damon has bombarded every NFL game / network. He is all over the place.
• The NFL made it clear before the season started that they did not want players and teams promoting anything crypto as they are planning something as whole meaning as united league. Think NFL NFT's or NFL fan token. Who knows?
• I expect crypto to do some good advertising during the super bowl. If not I will be disappointed.
• We know Snoop Dogg is big on the metaverse and NFT's and Eminem just bought an ENS and BAYC. They will both perform during the 1/2 time show. Think crypto won't come up?

The point is the NFL has massive audience in America but all over the world from Mexico to Asia and all around. The NFL has audiences of all ages, races, sex and financial income. It does not discriminate when wanting your attention so the fact that crypto, NFT's, Metaverse and maybe more will be mentioned during the Super Bowl and this will carry on to the 2022 season is just big for the industry and all of us.
