"the real economy is goods and services"

When asked about Bitcoin and crypto Elon said he thinks about it very little, and that "the real economy is goods and services". He also mentioned that fiat is fine as long as it's not being grossly inflated (which it is). So basically, his stance is neutral.

But I do think there's alot of wisdom there when it comes to thinking about Bitcoin. It's easy to get really wrapped up in the hype but we should remember its really just a system for FACILITATING the economy- which is not made out of bitcoins, it's made out of goods and services. We should look at Bitcoin through this lense, and focus less on it's value in USD or whatever.

And don't get me wrong, I think it's a fantastic tool which can make the economy more efficient and produce more value for all. But Bitcoin is not an end in itself. It's a means to an end which is an efficient economy.
