The ETH nodes system is largely inherited from the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. Just like Bitcoin, every device with an Ethereum client installed becomes an ETH node light. Light ETH nodes are also called relay ETH nodes because they perform basic transaction validation and pass them on through the network. When a transaction reaches a full ETH node, a full transaction check is performed. If the transaction meets all requirements, the full ETH node writes it to the blockchain. As in the Bitcoin network, there are no tangible incentives for the owners of ETH nodes. At the same time, developers can't work fully with dApps without a dedicated Ethereum server running a full Ethereum node. To install such a full Ethereum node, all you need to do is to download and install a free software package on a dedicated Ethereum server. It is called DappNode. DAppNode contains everything you need to set up a dedicated Ethereum server running a full Ethereum node. There is also recently released hardware dedicated Ethereum nodes all-in-one, with Wi-Fi and USB connections. Some enthusiasts are setting up Ethereum nodes on a Raspberry Pi minicomputer.
