 | I would like to start off by saying that I do not own any SHIB or BONE (just found out that BONE existed today) and am not a part of any SHIB ARMY. This story popped up while I was reading something else and I found it interesting enough to read up on and bring it to you good people. I have been reading about this for the last couple of hours and think I have the general idea of what happened but might be missing some information so if something is wrong feel free to correct me so I can edit the post. The SHIB ARMY is fracturing, the dev team is splitting and a lot of people are choosing sides. some info to start off, SHIB was created by some guy named Ryoshi (the Satoshi of shib) this guy basically pulled a Satoshi and decided to leave the project appointing Shytoshi as his spiritual successor. Shytoshi has been the head developer for the SHIB project and Shibarium (SHIB layer2) coming soon.
So the big fight basically started when the moderators of the SHIB discord wouldn't give Shytoshi admin privileges of the discord, he basically said fuck you I'll start my own group and started a new telegram group. After Shytoshi started the new telegram group which started growing incredibly fast due to everybody viewing him as the head of SHIBA-INU the head mod for the discord accused him of trying to centralize power and take over the entire project. Shytoshi fighting back decided to start removing team members who didn't agree with his vision of how to go about fulfilling the vision of Ryoshi, he stated that team members would be reassigned and other would not be asked to return. Shytoshi also stated that he would disbanding the breeds (I swear I'm not making these names up) the group Trophias was in charge of and queenshib was a member of. Shytoshi stated the he is working with multiple teams and everybody is replaceable. So for now it looks like the majority of the community is siding with Shytoshi who is the head of SHIB and the discord will probably be forgotten. Shytoshi maintains that he is fully in favor of decentralization but in a very organized way. All this drama has caused some SHIB maxis to abandon the project and selling all their shib after feeling betrayed since they believed this was a serious crypto project and not some stupid meme project run by children.
