The truth about Day Trading

I’ve been day trading for a longer time now and while every start is rough it’s not as bad if you start with smaller amounts.

Making profit in general is super easy. You just have to know the direction of the current market for the day and then ride the waves up or down accordingly. Which is super easy especially in the current situation where markets are clearly rational moving.

So all you have to do is spend a lot of time analyzing the sentiment, recent and upcoming events, patterns, orders that are currently affecting the market, correlation to other markets and watch the chart during day and night.

Then additionally all you have to do is set yourself alerts for any kind of price movement that can affect your decisions especially when you sleep. Waking up 4-6x every night in current market situation is not as bad as people think! I use those sleep breaks to get myself proper hydrated.

Then additionally we also have black swan events. Which is totally fine. Yes they entirely wipe out all plans but that’s ok.

Just adjust your positions accordingly again. Might have to realize losses in the middle of the night waking up worried about what just happened. But there’s always money to be made so just skip sleep for a couple hours and create a new plan!

TL;DR: Day trading for profit can be really easy! You just have to:

• be ready to lose a lot of sleep and wake up multiple times working on your investments

• spend hours every day on your research like a part time job

• You WILL lose money. It’s about making more then losing and adjusting risks.

• Side effects like stress, being tired all day, anxiety & depression might kick in but for the exchange of making a bit money!
